Really easy to blow. It just takes a little practice to get the notes down. Loud and crisp sound

I personally have several audio files from scouting and listening to a group of woodducks - playing - chasing -and even acting like geese at times bullying one another . I’ve been looking for THE. Woodduck call and this is it hands down

The quality feel and sound with this call is superior to others. I will certainly be being more calls based off that alone. Very good tone from low to high pitches and very easy to call. Great call for a beginner and will not have to buy another call for later upgrades. I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase and can’t wait to use it this season.

Won’t squel

Sounds great doing a flying or sitting call but it won’t squel when you push a lot of air through it.

"From the ground up, this call is built to do one thing exceptionally well – sound like a Wood Duck! The unique pan-style toneboard sets it apart, producing realistic whines, squeals, and high-pitched in-flight vocalizations."

DUCK CALL CARE

Cleaning Your Call: As we all know, calls can get full of grit and grime after a long hard season. For cleaning, we advise that you use warm soapy water or an ammonia-free glass cleaner to wash calls inside and out. Do not use any product containing alcohol or ammonia as it may cause crazing in the acrylic.

Cleaning of Reeds: To clean the reeds in your call, we recommend a paper towel and warm soapy water. Gently put pressure on both sides of the reed with the paper towel to wipe away saliva build-up. This build-up can affect the sound of your call, so it is recommended that you clean regularly. Also, when cleaning, be very careful to not bend the reed as this can effect the sound of your call as well.

O-Ring Care: Our calls utilize o-rings for a tight, secure barrel to insert connection. If a call is too tight we recommend lubricating the o-ring with a silicone base plumbers grease. We strongly advise that you do not use any petroleum based product on the o-rings as it will cause them to swell and deteriorate. This can also cause result in a stuck together call.
