Finally I found a wood duck call that captures the genuine sound of a wood duck

I recently purchased this call to "substitute" my other one (made in the industry for years) that I have successfully harvested Wood ducks with ease on making all the correct calls.......it was STRONGLY suggest by various industry call maker friends that this was a MUST buy. I'm in the process of learning how to run this call.

Granted, you have a staff of GREAT callers that know how to teach back pressure, larynx use etc because THIS call makes a unique sound. May I suggest to future purchases, you include in your survey a YOUTUBE thread or company teaching video to email on how to run your calls!!!

I think that would make a definitive statement to patrons that you want them to learn and run a call the same way that a Brook or anyone on your staff would. Thank you for your time and consideration TM

Little hard to blow air through but the call sounds amazing

Breaking point

After reading reviews, seeing and hearing videos, I really wanted to like this call but I don’t. It requires a massive amount of air pressure just to get air to go through it. When you finally hit the breaking point for air passage it is almost like a surprise and now you have to quickly adjust to make the sounds you want. I have never had a call that is this hard to blow. Not satisfied at all.

"From the ground up, this call is built to do one thing exceptionally well – sound like a Wood Duck! The unique pan-style toneboard sets it apart, producing realistic whines, squeals, and high-pitched in-flight vocalizations."

DUCK CALL CARE

Cleaning Your Call: As we all know, calls can get full of grit and grime after a long hard season. For cleaning, we advise that you use warm soapy water or an ammonia-free glass cleaner to wash calls inside and out. Do not use any product containing alcohol or ammonia as it may cause crazing in the acrylic.

Cleaning of Reeds: To clean the reeds in your call, we recommend a paper towel and warm soapy water. Gently put pressure on both sides of the reed with the paper towel to wipe away saliva build-up. This build-up can affect the sound of your call, so it is recommended that you clean regularly. Also, when cleaning, be very careful to not bend the reed as this can effect the sound of your call as well.

O-Ring Care: Our calls utilize o-rings for a tight, secure barrel to insert connection. If a call is too tight we recommend lubricating the o-ring with a silicone base plumbers grease. We strongly advise that you do not use any petroleum based product on the o-rings as it will cause them to swell and deteriorate. This can also cause result in a stuck together call.
